Introducing Microsoft ‘Sync’ UI

AppDirect has developed tools to simplify everyday subscription correction tasks, and the Microsoft Sync UI is the first available for marketplace managers to leverage.

The new Sync UI enables marketplace managers to synchronize, review, and manage subscriptions with ease.

When the UI is enabled, marketplace managers can modify the following subscription attributes without triggering customer notifications, invoices, or credit notes:

• Quantity
• Auto-renew status
• Contract end date

📝 Note: For the initial launch, the new UI will be available in Read-Only mode, meaning subscription data cannot be synchronized after changes at this time.We want to allow partners time to test and familiarize the new experience before making it fully available. If you notice a subscription that requires correction, contact your AppDirect technical representative.

To access the new UI,

1. Go to Manage > Marketplace | Admin Tasks > Microsoft. The Sync Subscriptions page opens.

2. Click on a subscription to view and explore its attributes in detail. Subscriptions with discrepancies compared to Microsoft Partner Center data are highlighted in red for easy identification.

Reviewing discrepancy data

Partners who want to review the complete discrepancy data set can navigate to the Report Center to generate the latest Microsoft Discrepancy Report, which provides a comprehensive overview of discrepancies across all Microsoft subscriptions.

To generate the report,

1. Click Download from Report Center. On the Create Report page, create a new report, provide a name, and select the report type as Microsoft Discrepancy Report.
